I had a lot of fun designing posters for @reworkkw I had a lot of fun designing posters for @reworkkw this week. The new shop will open soon selling good quality second hand clothes and furniture plus a lot more. The posters are a way to get feedback from the public about opening hours and the things they would like to see there. Put a sticker on the "Down with this kind of thing" if you don't want to see it in the space or on the "Go on, go on, go on" poster if you want to see more of that kind of thing. There are posters to test interest in tool and toy libraries and one to find out when the space should be open. It's a big space and would be amazing for workshops and meetings. It is also my closest outlet for paint saved from landfill via the excellent @communityrepaint scheme. Not for profits and charities can get free @canva upgrades so all of these have been made on this platform. I'll train the lovely folk at re:work how to use the templates I made so they won't need me any more. #altrusticdesign #communitydesign #graphicdesign #knowlewest

Oak leaves. Research for a new logo design for a c Oak leaves. Research for a new logo design for a client who is an expert in self care, grieving and death. I felt this topic needed a gentle touch so I'm stepping away from the computer and painting the logo and other graphics for her website. She will have something totally unique and as the oak bears personal significance for her, she will have branding that fits and resonates with her. I've got some gorgeous black Chinese Sumi ink that smells amazing and a bamboo brush I bought in Malaysia years ago. I just need to find a Zen moment to put brush to paper. #logodesign #research #trees #drawing #ink
Launched today. A swishy new website for painter @ Launched today. A swishy new website for painter @henriettagraham It's been fantastic to work with Henrietta, not only is she insanely talented, she was also ready with loads of gorgeous images of her paintings ready to go on the site and she responds to questions quickly. This is a @squarespace site with sumptuous videos that take you right into her studio and give you a real sense of who Henrietta is. There are galleries sorted into key areas and a print shop, her prints are made by Stephen Hicks, printer to the @tate I just need to do one little job so she can access her email and we are waiting for the security certificate to process and the name servers to settle. Just finished a massive renovation of www.frontrun Just finished a massive renovation of www.frontrunnersinnovate.com merging two sites with a consistent colour theme and brand message. The client is Mary Kurek, an altruistic entrepreneur who works hard to link up innovators so they can be more impactful.
